 Joshua Filer is a singer, songwriter, and guitarist based in the Phoenix, Arizona area. Influenced by legends like Bob Marley, Ray Charles, Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, and a wide range of jazz and blues artists, Joshua’s original music blends reggae, jazz, blues, classic rock, and a touch of country into a sound that’s uniquely his own.

Inspired from a young age to write songs, Joshua has been performing, writing, and recording music with various Phoenix-area bands since the early 2000s. He has released several albums through different projects, including a solo album in 2019. His most recent singles from 2024 and 2025 are available on all major streaming and social media platforms. Over the course of his career, Joshua has written or co-written more than 100 songs—and he’s still writing.

Known for his soulful vocals and seasoned guitar work, Joshua brings a distinctive energy to the stage. He performs regularly at local venues—everything from cozy eateries to lively bars—playing an eclectic mix of popular and classic covers, from Elton John to Lil Nas X, either solo or as part of a duo. He also continues to perform with original bands throughout the Phoenix music scene.

In 2025, Joshua plans to expand his monthly live shows in the greater Phoenix area and release even more new music.
